* Keep babies born in Salford. The birth centre at Salford Royal is set to close, so there is a public appeal for funds to set up a new birthing centre. Otherwise babies will no longer be born in the city

* Standing shoulder to shoulder with our sister city. It is 18 days since the terrorist attack in Manchester. Not to mention London as well
