Pristine

I collected my new bike this afternoon.  It sat there gleaming in the late evening sun so I decided to capture some images of it, knowing it was never going to be that clean and pristine, ever again!

It is part of my plans for some summer excursions, after leaving work tomorrow.  I did wonder if I might have a 'wobble' this week, as the realisation struck that I would not be working for the first time in almost 40 years.  It hasn't happened so far!  Still to pop out to vote - I've been told that the rain of earlier today has left a deep puddle outside the door of the polling station - will be interesting to see if it puts some people off!
