The Renfrewshire Tapestry

Tonight I finished my 'teardrops' for the Renfrewshire Tapestry. The teardrops are to be part of the large Tapestry which has been designed by Andrew Crummy who was already responsible for the Great Tapestry of Scotland, The Diaspora Tapestry and the Battle of Prestonpans.
The Renfrrewshire Tapestry is an exciting project which is to be part of the Paisley bid for the UK City of Culture 2021. 
Last night I watch a fascinating programme of 'the Town that Thread Built' - about the thread industry in Paisley which spread throughout the world - well worth finding on catch up (BBC2)
