no words describe the delight of such a built out "corner" - at least those of us who love corners.  I wonder if anyone has read The Poetics of Space, the Classic Look at How We Experience Intimate Places, by Gaston Bachelord, and published in 1958 first in French and called La Poetique de l'space.
