Look who is two...

...yep, cousin Conor two already. Down to Troon today to celebrate his big birthday and to wish him and his Daddy and his big dug all the best for their big move to Newcastle, County Down this week.

We will miss having this wee chap as our occasional weekend guest and having them all just 1 hr 15 mins down the road. But look forward to the trips over to visit them all.

This pair are as thick as thieves...both love their food and here they are sharing a bowl of strawberries.

Looking at this minds me of a conversation I had with the Rooster when we were out walking with a tiny baby Conor in his pram.

We were passing a local tree swing...

"Mum, when Conor's seven can I take him to the tree swing?"
"Son, when Conor's seven you will be Seventeen, you'll be chasing girls not wanting to play with your cousin on tree swings."
The Rooster turns to Conor lying in his pram and says, "Conor, man, I'll never desert you like that, never."

And he never will.

Grateful for family and a bittersweet day of joy and yes, some tears.
