Birthday flowers

These are the flowers Dave had sent to me at work yesterday. They are a glorious profusion.

While I have gone back to work since we returned from holiday, Dave's chesty cough he developed in London has laid him low. Both of us have had little sleep. It is one of those coughs that seems to turn you inside out. Thank goodness, today he decided to go see the doctor. Antibiotics have been prescribed.  Let's hope things will now be on the mend.
