Medlow Restored
Dating from 1880, one of the oldest railway stations in the Blue Mountains is at Medlow Bath. Over the last couple of months the platform and buildings have received a sympathetic restoration and technical upgrade. It really does look great, these days.
Many thanks to all of those who called in to comment favourably on yesterday's blip. It was really just another of my casual blips of opportunity and so I was surprised and delighted that it should have been received so positively. I was so inspired that tonight (for the first time in ages) I actually went out deliberately to do a "shoot". I also decided to give my trusty Sigma 30mm f2.8 prime a run. It's my "go to" wander-around-at-night lens.
