They shall not be forgotten

In the South of Holland, at Margraten, is a war cemetery. Here lie the American soldiers that died during and shortly after the war. It is the only American cemetery in Holland. The US army moved through the South of Holland, liberating that part of Holland and moving on to end the war in Germany. Other country armies moved further into Holland to liberate the rest. It has been on my wishlist to see this cemetery for many year.

I am forever grateful.
