Colin's Garden
Felt ghastly today with cold. I needed milk so forced myself out with Basil to the corner shop. We walked 100 yards or so further down the hill to find out if Colin was in. He wasn't but his garden cheered me up. I don't know whether the pale lemon flowers are a variety of daisy or pyrethrum.
Back home, I slumped in front of the box and watched the last installment of The Hobbit. Seems that Tolkien is all about CGI battles. In a torpor most of the time.
Len was polling clerk at the town council offices all day for the election. I was aware of him leaving just after 6am. He got home shortly after 10 pm and went straight to bed.
Kat has had twinges all day with the baby but is not in labour.
