Marsh Orchid ...... Eskimo Nell

The forecast said nothing about rain but it fell this morning in bucket loads when we were at Potfest in the wonderful grounds of Scone Palace just outside Perth.
There were one or two brief periods when the rain eased .... a bit .... but it wasn't long before we were seeking shelter again.

We stopped briefly at Branklyn Gardens on our way home and fortunately during our brief visit the rain went off. L and I rushed round looking for our favourite flowers and I wouldn't be at all surprised if she also blipped the white orchids.

The first extra is a lovely peony rose and the second was a new flower for me ..... it's a Nomocharis. The flower reminded me of a hellebore.
