Matlock Bath

Is it a small town in the Peaks?  Is it a faux seaside resort?  Is it a magnet for bikers?  Does it have an inordinate amount of chip shops?

Yes to all those things, which makes Matlock Bath such a satisfying place to visit, even for just a few hours as Vivien and I did today.  And yes, we had chips, which was the main aim.
