Almost surf at Snells

Today I chose to have a slow start to the day, planning on a midday run. Reasonable weather in the morning became windier and bleaker and the middle of the day would have encouraged almost no one out. So I eventually had a run in the early evening, not long before sunset. The wind was threatening to become equinoctial, although the rain held off.

Down to Snells Beach and at the southern end the seaweed has been driven in to create a bank a good 15 to 20 cm thick. Against this banked up seaweed the water of the basy was being driven in and the waves were breaking onto it as if it was surf. This was the best of the pictures I took to show it.
