Chewing...

... it over - the election result that is - along with the rest of the country. News site checking first thing; Radio 4 on the way into work; quite a bit of debate at work with staff and less with students and Guardian notifications all through the day. Locally a city shaped red dot amongst a sea of blue was some consolation. And the school vote saw a Labour win reflecting the national youth vote. A bit alarming were the votes for UKIP from 12 year olds and for the SNP from students who are very definitely a part of  middle England. 

My day moved fairly swiftly with a bit more than I had bargained for at the end of it. My last lesson with Y11 before their last English exam on Monday was a significant feature. Week 1 of term 6: done.
