There are a few politicians feeling rather deflated today.

Did Theresa May have a narrow escape? And should we expect to see Ruth Davidson in the next honours list for saving the Conservative and Unionist party as they are now keen to be known from having its wheels come off completely by persuading some Scottish voters they were a better option than the SNP?

And will English votes for English Laws still be relevant now a Conservative Government is propped up by Northern Ireland's DUP?
