Golfing buddy

The hazards you have to deal with on the golf course ;)

It's either a Terrapin or a snapping turtle -- both of which are native to the area. The pond on the fairway is home to loads of snapping turtles (as well as buckets full of stray golf balls...), some of them huge. But their coloring (from what I can tell from a respectful distance) is usually much duller than this one. The mystery remains :)
