End of the pier

Out on Flotta today installing an exhibition. We have had an eye on the weather all week as forecast cast doom and gloom all around. It was very tempting to cancel but we decided to trust the forecast and believe that the gales fo Thursday would be on the wain by Friday morning.

They got it right. Phew!

Windy and wild but the seas were calming and the rain was reduced to passing squalls. The ferry over was pretty smooth and we were lucky that the panels we were putting up outside were on the leeward side of the building. So the installation went without hitch and to schedule.

I had enough time once done to wander to the end of the pier and practice leaning into the wind. Amazing that air can be so strong.
