Gatwick, South Terminal.

A rushed and not very good blip and journal today. Arrived home from the gym this lunchtime to find phone dead and Internet down. Wasted an hour on the phone to TalkTalk only for them to tell me there was nothing wrong with the line. Went to talk to neighbours to find their phones were down too. Everyone thought it was a problem with their phone. BT apparently know about the fault but are not likely to fix it til Monday. No good to us as we're away from tomorrow.

That waste of time put us right back as I had to go to Gatwick in the late afternoon to pick up Barbara who is coming to stay with Doreen while we're away. An uneventful journey but took two and a half hours.

All the time too, an electrician was here extending power into the garden, new studio, shed and greenhouse added to which Virgin media still had the road up laying their fibre.

So no internet to upload a blip, it had to be an iPhone shot hurriedly taken. No time to do any packing for tomorrow, will have to do it all in the morning. Looking forward to the slow life on the narrow boat.
