I took myself off for a bike ride into the drizzle with the promise of a brighter future (well, it got sunnier after lunch) 131.9 km including a lunch with the parents in Coalsnaughton. A restful hour gazing at the Ochils whilst I devoured fuel for the return journey along the north side of the Forth.
Twice I passed bonded warehouses; the sweet smell of whisky in the air was a joy. I had that delightful aroma in my nostrils as I took this photo
