A 'blue geranium'

What a couple of days. I've been plugged into various ways of following the election and its aftermath and stayed up until 4am this morning. I also managed to organise some insurance renewals so I feel pleased to have got that out of the way.

The sun shone at odd times during the day and so I decided to blip a subject for the regular Flower Friday challenge. I'd hoped to have done more gardening by this time in the year but the recent rainy weather has kept me indoors more than I should have.

One of the plants I wanted to plant out was this little 'blue geranium' as the small white label describes it. I don't remember where I got it from, but it must have been a summer fete last year. I hope to put it in the ground tomorrow.

I do like the colours of this perennial which always grows well in our are; it must be a lime lover.
