Halifax Town Centre

We came back from Cheddar Gorge and Friday and although I have not been looking for another job I happened so see one on the HSJ which interested me. Unfortunately the closing date had passed but I decided to give it a go and send in my application form and CV. I was pleased to be invited to interview but unfortunately it was to be held in Halifax. This meant an overnight stay but I was delighted when I walked through the town centre as it was really beautifully decked out with hanging baskets in the thoroughfare and everyone I met was really friendly and chatty. This photo doesn't do the flowers justice though.

The hotel staff were the same and if I need to stay again I will try to take in more of the countryside which I had not visited before. No wonder we produce such fantastic cyclists from Yorkshire as the hills are stunning. The interview was good and I hope to hear soon if I have been successful or not.
