Pimp my Brompton!

This morning was spent fettling and pimping my Brompton. There are new black components from Brompton after many years of chrome stuff only, so I've been slowly adding them as and when. A new black chainset was fitted a while ago and today it was the turn of bars and levers, including a nifty integrated brake/gear shifter. Also, new cables, the real reason for needing to fettle.

This Brompton of mine is a bit like Trigger's broom from Only Fools and Horses, it's 11 years old but not much of it is original. Only three things, the frame, the left folding pedal and the three speed hub. I think that the last of those three things is original and still going strong is remarkable considering how many miles it must have done in those 11 years and what a hard working life its had.
