Ta da!
Yesterday's apples were transformed into this yummy cake today. I came across the recipe in one of my favourite food blogs, Smitten Kitchen.
Even though it turned out beautifully it is a bit airy for my taste. I like something with more texture. Still, I guarantee it won't last beyond the weekend! And to top it all off, Joe made a batch of profiteroles this afternoon and they were his best ones yet. Making choux pastry is a bit of a challenge so I think he has done a terrific job. It's just as well I love exercise!
