One Last Selfie
I laid flat on my back on my bunk for 12 hours. I can’t remember when I was last still for that long. The boat was bobbing up and down like a cork for all that time. I was resigned to spending the the whole 24 hour journey in that position but suddenly this morning something happened. It became smoother. Not smooth. But smoother. Smooth enough for Igor to go below and bring us up some fruit and a roll. It continued to improve so that I could get a shower and venture out too. We even managed a spell of sitting on deck in the sunshine.
I’ll still be glad when we get off.
