Raddington Church (Church of St Michael)

Another lovely cycle today, taking in Exmoor, Raddington and then onto the Blackdowns

Raddington has a lovely isolated medieval church which is still in use but can only be reached on foot. There was a church here from 1262. The current building dates from the 14th century at the latest, its door including ironwork of the second half of that century.

An idyllic resting place for John Freeman, a lovely man who was buried yesterday.
