Butchering the Ivy

I spent a couple of hours this afternoon cutting back the variegated ivy that grows over our front wall. It had got very out of hand. It now looks as it it has been butchered but I know from experience that it will soon grow back. I filled the green bin and ran out of the 'special' green bags that we can by from the council. I will have to deal with this pile when I get more green bags or wait until Thursday when the green bin will be emptied.
