Community Planting

Took some children out at school today (including The Dopski) to help plant up our local little railway station.

The idea is that volunteers from the community take the unkempt areas and plant them up into beautiful areas instead. The children helped 4 volunteers and weeded, then planted some snap dragons, cosmos and petunias. What a lovely start to the day.

Hopefully the project will extend to the school helping to design and make history information boards etc.

The day finished with the Carnival Disco.
