Sunday in Leeds

We took the train into Leeds to collect Ruby from her lesson at Northern Ballet.
As we had some time to spare before picking her up we had a coffee in this arcade and listened to the accomplished piano player seen above.
The numerous shopping arcades are pretty special in this town centre being able to provide shelter from the elements without the oppressive feeling l get when in a larger mall.
We went to our favourite place for a pizza then watched some of the World Triathlon Series that was being held in the city.
The Brownlee Brothers were first and second again and the crowd was ecstatic for these two local sporting heros.
We all got the train home but with a change to our usual routine. We got off at our usual stop and Ruby went on her own to the next stop where she lives.
We kept in touch by phone so we knew she had got home safely.
Another step towards her growing independence.
