Hope

A rainy Sunday in Dollar and I was trudging up the main road trying to get my head around an election that we seem to have simultaneously won and lost.  A coach drew up and out poured a whole load of young people, who I assume were students at Dollar Academy returning from some pipe band event or other.  In a matter of minutes they had formed into rows and were playing a rousing march to the delight of passers by.  Then they marched off into the rain - thank you to our young people - you are our hope for the future of our society :-))
