Progress

Bit more productive today than yesterday. Set off to Bruntsfield to get wedding card/presents for next weekend, but none of the shops open (except cafes - I had a cheeky coffee and morning roll) so I had to walk down to town and managed to get what I needed - even a new outfit too although not 100% certain I'll keep it.
Caught in rain showers a couple of times but walked home anyway and when I got in I made some soup for the week's lunches and then did some shortlisting and other work, ironing and general sorting out. Meanwhile Heston came 3rd in his first show - the 'Most handsome dog' class! (extra)
Roasted some apricots for pud....very nice with cream and amaretti biscuits!
Prep for the board meeting tomorrow and an early night
