Memories ...

For one of the gifts for my dad's 90th Birthday, on Saturday, I was able to make a family photo album for him......
Today's Blip is one of the earliest photos that I could find of dad.......here he is in the merchant navy, on board a ship, in 1945.
Immediately, and without any hesitation, dad was able to name each sailor in the photo.....
this is probably true of most of us.......the ability to instantly name people who we knew many many years ago...
....but having more difficulties in recalling names of colleagues /acquaintances, who we have known in more recent decades!
