Sightseeing With My Sister

Met my sister and her husband at the airport and straight to Belém for some of their delumptious pastries, and then decided to go into one of Lisbon's top attractions, which we've never seen - the Jerónimos Monastery, built when Portugal was master of the seas. Impressive architecture, but really, we were too busy talking to appreciate it properly. Interesting to see both Camões' (Portugal's Shakespeare) and Vasco de Gama's tombs.

Safely home now in Mourão, and looking forward to my bed...
