Crepe Myrtle Now and Then

The extra today is from February 2017 and was shot at approximately the same spot as the photo above.  Of course, the February shot was when the trees were pruned severely since new growth on them comes from pruned branches and trunks.  The one in my front yard has made more progress than these near the entrance to the  neighborhood.  I am amazed each year at how heartily they come back and will soon be blooming.  Viewing them side by side in large shows the dramatic changes.
