Heard a lot more than I saw but...

The photo of the day is a red eyed vireo almost straight up in a rather tall tree. Talk about warbler neck, and it isn't even a warbler. The extra is a broad wing hawk being harried by not one , but two different swallows- a barn swallow and a tree swallow( the squarish blob in the corner).
And apologies for missing any comments and thanks for any stars from vacation week: I have been off for a few days due to catch up cleaning, rehearsals for Elijah ( mendelssohn ) and a few later work nights. so thank you for any stars and sorry if I am behind on your journals.
