Last Light

Zipped out just as the the last light was touching the houses over the valley - I've always loved the one tree on the skyline.
After taking Harry to school, I got home just in time to see the last (of three)  of the America's Cup race - OMG, we nearly blew it at the last gate, but snuck in with 1 second to spare, blimey !!  So we are now 4 - 2, neading one more win to take on Oracle in the final.....nervous!

Doug and I spent the rest of the day out at Lower Hutt with Doug's sister and husband.  Lovely to see them again, his health now isn't so good, and won't be able to travel south again, so will only see them when we come up here to visit our family.

We're off on the Interislander at 9 am in the morning, then travelling over to Nelson.  Forecast is for gale force winds in Cook Strait, eck !!
