Standing not Rolling Stones

A blustery but dryish day so we cooked a mammoth breakfast and then headed out to revisit a pottery for a purchase, we hunted in vain for an amusing place name sign, then visited the Orphir round Kirk and learnt all about the Viking saga's at the Orkneyinga Saga centre. Then it was onto the The Brodgar stones, and more standing stones at Stenness. A trip to Kirkwall for dinner supplies then we finished up with a trip round Maes Howe. So I've ticked another Unesco world heritage site off the list.
