Teapot flowers

A bright sunny morning.

I have been waiting for a while for these flowers to bloom - Petunia (surfinia). A while ago, the handle of the teapot cracked slightly and became weak and wobbly rather than strong and stable lol.However, my clever wife planted these flowers and, in the early morning light, they look rather lovely.

For me, the teapot is an analogy of our lives - we can be damaged or broken and yet still be useful with a whole new purpose. It remains to be seen whether our Prime Minister can similarly find a new purpose or whether we need someone new to lead our country through the difficult times ahead.
