MonoMonday 177: My Best Friend...Kinda

Since my Very Best Friend is in Hawaii at the moment, 'My Best Friend' will default to the critters. Tara (3.5yrs) and Leo (17yrs) have forged a tenuous 'friendship' which has taken three years to 'blossom'. Tara has finally realized that, although Leo does carry knives (ten sharp ones), he would rather not use them on her. She has finally stopped barking insanely at him and he, in turn, now feels comfortable head butting and rubbing up against her, as he was used to doing with our previous two dogs...RIP Jenny and JAZ,  before Tara and Maica. Leo has also come to realize that if he runs Tara will chase him...with gleeful doggie abandon!  If you look closely, you can see Tara gently licking Leo's head. Good girl, Tara! One year ago today...49 people went to #Pulse to dance and to meet friends but never came home. In memory.
