The best of the bunch.

We went for a walk at one of our local nature reserves, I carted the DSLR and the 500 mm lens in the vain hope of seeing some birds. The wildlife knew better than me and stayed hidden. Walking back via the wild flower meadow these thistles caught my eye, they were about 20 metres away beyond a fence, so the lens came in handy.
