Salty QR Code
Today we went round the Terre de Sel (Land of Salt) at Guérande to see how them extract salt from sea water. The building has a giant QR code on the outside made of images of the salt marshes and I thought it would make a good blip so here it is. As I don't have a tilt and shift lens I've alter the perspective a bit in the GIMP to make it almost square again.
The walk round the marsh and the explanation was interesting but as it was around midday the light was terribly flat and most of the pictures were very boring and dull.
After the tour we went up to the town of Guérande and had a look round there. The centre of the town is surrounded by a wonderfully complete town wall and a section is open to walk along (for a small fee). The light wasn't much better in the afternoon either so while I have some snaps they aren't very exciting and why the QR Code won for the day.
The QR code contains the following text http://www.irealite.com/01/ I've not put it in as a link in case something bad happens in the future, but at the moment it links to the Terre de Sel's web site so you can see what is going on today. Not really surprising really!
