#6 Caesars Palace Las Vegas

5th October 2011. Picture the scene. I'm just arrived in Vegas, its mean't to be a desert, its pissing with rain, first full day and I've just busted out of the first tournament I've entered , one place off the money. ..
..however not all is lost as the next game is about to start at Caesars Palace, so I race over and make it just in time before registration closes. Its a $75 dollar game. I'm sat down, 1st hand I'm in the big blind and every one folds round to me..apart from the small blind who raises.
I look at my cards and.... I've got the big ones... Two nice big fat red aces. After a suitable amount of acting I eventually reraise him. He then raises me, I raise him etc etc, and much to my delight all the money is in the middle before a card is turned.
I turn over aces and he curses loudly and turns over pocket 9's.
First card out is a 9.
Bah.
