Sempervivum
The Latin name gives it away. Not a bad motto for life!
Even my rubbish O-level Latin (happiest day of my life when I had no more Latin lessons) tells me this means "always living" and these house-leeks do exactly what it says on the tin. No soil required, not a lot of water, don't mind sun or not and still they hang on. This lot nearly got washed away in a storm but hung on in there.
Busy day today - Tricia has a knitting do in Joyeuse - she was the only one there - then her scrabble group met in our garden and then neighbours came around for apero.
Life in the fast lane.
