Mono Monday - Anyone seen my glasses?

The theme is "my best friend" and, well, what did you expect? 

OK, perhaps from time to time she may overdo the frank admiration, as she gazes up to the top of the pedestal where I reside. Truth to tell, she can occasionally be overwhelming in the gratuitous compliments with which she showers me. But I tolerate these excesses with a forbearance developed over many years. 'twould be cruel to be otherwise.
