Trapped

Allium cernuum, many buds seemingly trapped in a cage formed of stems.
Soon they will all be released .... unlike 'The Prisoner of No10'.  

Blood test for Jamie this morning - I looked out of the window.  Later I planted up the extended raised bed with some dryland plants, not strictly alpine but my tastes are catholic where plants are concerned.  Time on the allotment this afternoon yielded the first new potatoes and peas .... and a big heap of weeds!
