A blank canvas

Well, we made it and are now ensconced in our hot, wee, empty Weilheim flat! All the boxes are pretty much unpacked and we've already started a list of things we really have to buy asap. We've been welcomed by an afternoon and evening of thunderstorms which is fine if it clears the air - we're not used to it being so muggy.
We'll be hot-footing it to the Telekom shop tomorrow morning; our phone connection was meant to kick in at 9pm tonight but reading the new-customer blurb it seems we have to go online in order to register and get it activated and I can't get to their site from my iPhone. A bit of a Catch-22 there then! I'm sure there's a perfectly simple explanation but which will leave me as flummoxed as ever!
