A treat

A relaxed bike ride along the lakeside from Mississauga to Toronto, with Jamie; my once neighbor who moved back to Toronto and I haven't seen for a while. It felt very decadent to be so selfish and just potter for a couple of hours with no agenda!  I resolved to do this more often.  I was on my way to a stressful work week in St Louis, and managed to find a route via Toronto and persuade, an persuadable travel department to book it for me, and also book PK on the same flight, so she could have a long weekend with her friend.  Managing the logistics felt like landing a jumbo jet on a stamp, but this bike ride was the moment that it felt like it was worth it.
