Steveston - Brittania Shipyard

You may have seen this location in recent news clips where a young girl was snatched by a sealion off the Quay into the water...and then rescued.
No seals today, but this fishing village is a real gem. Derelict boathouse above was part of a national historic site.

Book Club

We popped into a cafe/bookshop where a book club meeting was in full flow. Got chatting with the organiser...and ended up proposing a link with my village book club back home. Maybe reading same book and sharing our thoughts. How cool is that?
