Salmon's Bane

Today I spent the early afternoon trekking through the wilderness at the bottom of Grisedale Valley, first I went up the side of St Sunday Crag and made my way down the path through Patterdale estate. My favorite part of the valley is the stream that runs through the forest just out of Patterdale, usually depending on the time of year there are fish jumping up the waterfalls and over rocks. I managed to get a couple of photos of the fish jumping, but there wasn't enough light for anything that would make for a good photo.

I saw the same fish trying to jump up this wide waterfall multiple times and not succeeding, it was entertaining to say the least.
