Heading South

We took ourselves off to Pilgrims Rest for a wee wander. Sadly it's not the town it used to be and more than a little disappointing.

We took the Long Tom Pass route back to Dullstroom. There are controlled fires all over the area to create firebreaks. It made the drive past a bit warm.

Back to Dullstroom to break the journey home. We headed off to sample the offerings at the Anvil Ale House and Brewery which didn't disappoint.

On our way there however I got chased by this big bull who didn't seem to like having its photo taken.

A fine supper was followed by a seat by the roaring fire in our abode.

Back home tomorrow.
