Blue skies

It's feeling a lot more like June.

I walked just past the church and realised that the big field was full of sheep. A reminder that this is all such productive farmland.

So sad to think that it is about to be lost to a huge new housing development. There are no shops or other facilities round here and apparently no plans either. So sad to lose this fertile and beautiful area. On the edge of the "Black Country" there is no shortage of brownfield land far closer to shops, buses and schools.

I know we need housing but this is not the best way (even if it will be extremely lucrative as the houses here will sell at a premium.) the battle continues, but somehow it is twisted and not politically correct......
