The Truth
This has been a momentous week for the people campaigning for justice for the 96 Liverpool supporters who died in the Hillsborough disaster in 1989. It is one of very few events where everyone who lived through it knows where they were when they heard the news.
I took this on my way to a football match, which I don't wish to discuss. My son Tom and I went for lunch at the Bridge Inn at Port Sunlight and afterwards had a stroll around. This blip is part of the Hillsborough memorial in the village, accompainied by great floral displays.
At our match, at nearby Prenton Park, a minute's applause in memory of the 96 was perfectly observed.
